Found that turtle crawling out of a mud pit that we had just gone through. Haha we moved him to a safer place than down inside the ruts of a mud pit!

Those guys show up at the oddest times. We found a painted turtle, the kind you get kids, only about 10" long trucking across the sand at Moses Lake, WA. Wasn't hiding in his shell either, he was making tracks
