I found this place credit to https://www.where2wheel.com/trails/trail/full/700. Great terrain for a central Long Island trail. There are sand paths that your jeep can dig into and difficult mud ruts after the rain. There are many side trails that will appear as you keep driving around the area.

Directions:

Make the first right off Wading River Rd onto Jerusalem Hollow Rd when heading north after getting off Sunrise Hwy. Then make the first right onto a small mud patch. Then you will see a small hill that turns into sandy terrain.

A few meters of mud, but then deep sand to have fun (4x4 and 2 wheels) + nice forest trail for 2 wheels. Definitively recommend !

Good trail

Part of the trail seems to be a construction access road (sandy ) another part was a bit tight (not for nice paint jobs) and seemed to be used by two wheelers mostly but fun . The third part was very muddy and I decided on caution and abstained. I’m new to this ...

Mud entrance a little difficult we the mud net is sand terrain have to drive a off road tire to play in the sand box but nice to be a driver plus test the driver skill and performance on the truck Nice to enjoy

Was in the area so we checked it out. Stinky mud hole at the entrance then over the hill to the sand trails. My truck is stock and I didn't have my recovery gear with me so I didn't go too far into the sand. We did however explore on foot and there are several trails packed into this small patch of land. Would be fun in a jeep and a lot of fun on a quad. Very curious what the land is cuz it seems custom made for dirt bikes and ATVs. No posted sighs of any kind.
