Kisatchie National Forest, the only National forest in Louisiana, United States, is located in the forested piney hills and hardwood bottoms of seven central and northern parishes. It is part of the Cenozoic uplands and has large areas of longleaf pine forests. It offers a variety of activities, one being access to all-terrain motorized vehicles. There are several places you can go in this forest (make sure to follow the signs and you can learn more about trail access on the website link below) but the trail I am going to mention is called Kisatchie K61C which is one of many of the "K roads" spread throughout the forest. It is a short trail, ranging only about 1 mile but it is enough to get your tires wet and get out into the forest.
