This is probably one of the hottest places you will ever go for wheeling. It sits on the eastern boundary of the valley of fire - about 45 miles from Vegas! This OHV area consists of one large loop and then several small loops that wind off the main one. Desert scenery and terrain with some rocks and obstacles thrown in. This is a great place for beginners or for somewhere to go for just a nice day of wheeling with no breakage!
Directions:
From Las Vegas - Take I-95N approx. 45 miles Then take exit 93 to 169 Turn right on Liston Ave Turn right at stop sign Stay to right until road forces you to cross the tracks Stay on this road as it goes up the canyon And then the first staging area is about 1.5 mile sin

Thie trail system at Mountain Springs is very nice and scenic. You could spend more than a day on all of the trail options. I think the trail name in this app is wrong. It should be Mountain Springs, not Moapa valley. We are low skill level and really enjoyed the challenge that some of the trail options presented.
