Not terrible

Submitted on Jul 25, 2022

We went yesterday, 07/24/2022 I can see it being very muddy if we have had normal rain but it was not too bad, There is one mud puddle that we went through no issue, on the way back though moving right along and dead stop. Fully locked and just kept on the gas, pulled itself out. Phew. Bugs were ridiculous though. It is an out and back, looks to be a couple side trails but we did not go.

Challenging

Would not recommend without a buddy. Could not complete 'cause of a huge fallen tree. Anyone around Northampton area wanting to go explore this trail?

S Wales Rd

If you care about your paint job, I DO NOT recommend running this trail. As another user said, the trail starts as a dirt road and goes by a large farm field. Then it becomes super tight with overgrowth and it comes into a forest. You are greeted with a very deep mud hole/water crossing. I managed to get through in a 6 inch lifted Dodge Ramcharger. The rest of the trail is pretty easy and you come out at the Rod and Gun Club.

the trail starts like a dirt road along a farm field then got really tight for my jku.then it opens up to a deep mud whole the water was up to the bottom of my doors. I'm running a 2.5 inch lift and 33 inch tires. the trail was easy to follow just follow the arrows. until the end when we got to the pond in Connecticut we turned around and followed the well defined road back out to the pavement. trail time was about an hour. I did out of the woods with some new pin strips
