Know before you book
- Arrival & Parking Punctuality: Please arrive promptly at your scheduled booking time so departures stay on track. Finding the Entrance: Look for the large metal gate constructed from telephone poles. Parking: Drive onto the property and park directly near the teal blue Jeep. Check-In: The property owner will meet you at the parking area to introduce themselves, go over pre-ride guidelines, and set additional expectations before hitting the trail. Passenger Requirements & Vehicle Rules Age & Size Restrictions: All passengers must be large enough to safely and properly use standard factory seat belts. Children who are young enough or small enough to require a car seat or booster seat are not permitted. No Pets: For safety and cabin considerations, animals and pets of any kind are strictly prohibited. Health & Illness Policy: Because rides take place inside a shared, enclosed cab, please do not book or attend if you currently have a cold, cough, or any active symptoms of illness. Trail Experience & Expectations The Ride: You will be riding in the built 1995 Jeep Cherokee for approximately 1 hour, traversing several miles of wooded trails, tackling technical off-road obstacles, and stopping at scenic vantage points. Wildlife: This is an active natural habitat. Encounters with native wildlife are always possible, with larger wildlife sightings occurring most frequently during evening and night runs. Trail Recoveries: In the event a vehicle recovery is needed on the trail, passenger participation is never required. If you are eager to learn recovery techniques or lend a hand, simply let your host know—any guest participation is strictly at the host’s discretion based on terrain safety and situational factors.
Park policies
Safety+
Safety Requirements & On-Trail Rules Mandatory Seat Belts: Seat belts must remain securely fastened at all times while the vehicle is in motion or positioned on a trail obstacle. Unbuckling without the driver's explicit permission is strictly prohibited. Keep Limbs Inside: All hands, arms, feet, and heads must remain inside the vehicle cab at all times. Use the provided interior grab handles—never brace yourself by gripping the exterior window frame, roll bar, or door pillars due to tight clearance around trees and brush. Exiting the Vehicle: Never attempt to step out of the Jeep unless the driver has brought the vehicle to a complete stop in park, secured the brakes, and verbally cleared passengers to exit. Terrain is often steep, slick, or off-camber. Recovery Safety Protocol: If a recovery (winching, strap pull, or spotting) takes place, passengers must remain seated with belts buckled unless the driver directs otherwise. If permitted outside to observe, guests must remain behind the designated safety perimeter away from high-tension lines and moving rigs. Strict Sobriety Policy: Guests must be 100% sober. Any passenger showing signs of alcohol or drug impairment will be denied entry immediately with no refund. Open containers of alcohol are not permitted in the vehicle. Physical & Health Considerations: This is an authentic, rugged trail ride involving abrupt jolts, heavy vibration, steep inclines, and off-camber tilting. This experience is not recommended for individuals with recent surgeries, severe back, neck, or spinal issues, or those who are pregnant. Recommended Footwear & Attire: Closed-toe shoes (boots, sturdy sneakers) are strongly recommended in the event you need to step onto rough, muddy, or rocky ground. Dress comfortably for outdoor weather conditions. Driver Authority: The driver's verbal instructions regarding safety, trail navigation, and cabin protocols are final and must be followed immediately.
Weather+
Weather & Trail Safety: Off-roading runs rain, shine, or dark. However, in the rare event that extreme, unsafe weather conditions or unexpected mechanical repairs require the host to cancel a run, you will receive your choice of an immediate full refund or priority rescheduling.
Cancellation+
12-Hour Advance Notice: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be submitted at least 12 hours prior to your scheduled departure time to receive a full refund or to transfer your reservation to a new date. Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Because each run is strictly capped at 3 passengers, late cancellations made with less than 12 hours' notice and no-shows cannot be filled on short notice and are non-refundable. Health Cancellations: If you develop cold or flu symptoms leading up to your ride, please contact us immediately prior to the 12-hour window so we can release your seat and coordinate a reschedule.
