Drummond Island ORV Route Network
DNR east-route parking at Bass Cove and Clear Lake roads, Drummond Island, MI 49726
About this trail
Drummond Island's public ORV route network offers rocky climbs, wooded tracks and challenging wet sections. Use the current Michigan DNR maps to distinguish full-size ORV routes from the separate trails limited to vehicles 50 inches wide or less. Some designated routes require 4WD and high clearance, and traffic travels in both directions. This guide covers the public network, not the privately operated Turtle Ridge park. The pin identifies the east-route parking area published on the DNR map at Bass Cove and Clear Lake roads. The original gallery includes an old map image for historical context only; use the current DNR map for navigation. Stay on signed routes, respect private land, and check current closures, registration and permit requirements before travelling. Avoid flooded sections when depth or footing is uncertain.
