Elbe Hills offers a designated ORV trail network through wooded terrain east of Elbe. Community photos show muddy sections, rocks and technical vehicle obstacles; choose routes that suit your vehicle and current conditions. Reach the ORV trailhead via State Route 706, 278th Avenue East and DNR 8 Road. Check registration, Discover Pass and current fire restrictions before visiting. Camping is separate from trail access and requires arrangements with DNR; volunteer-group and holiday restrictions apply. Stay on designated motorized routes and respect other forest users.
