About this trail

Fordyce Lake Trail is a rocky two-track route south of Meadow Lake, also identified as trail 13E12 and Upper Fordyce Road in area mapping. Expect uneven granite, tight lines and obstacles requiring experienced driving and a capable high-clearance 4WD vehicle. The pin marks the northern end of the mapped Upper Fordyce road segment, not the dam or a campsite. Stay on designated motorized routes and check the current Forest Service map for seasonal restrictions. Nearby dam work has closed Rattlesnake Road and roads 85-2 and 85-2-1 through December 31, 2026; do not assume you can exit through them. Use the Meadow Lake approach and verify your full itinerary before travelling. Original community images show historical conditions, and no navigable trail track is supplied here.
