Gold Valley OHV Trail
Trail 11E67 at Pauley Creek Road (0093-003), Tahoe National Forest, near Sierra City, CA
About this trail
Gold Valley OHV Trail follows a rugged forest route through the mountain country north of Downieville. Rocky sections, uneven climbs and creek crossings make this a route for capable high-clearance 4WDs and experienced drivers, not a guaranteed stock-vehicle outing. The pin marks the southern end of designated trail 11E67 at Pauley Creek Road. Consult the current Forest Service motor-vehicle map for the full itinerary and connecting roads, which can have different vehicle requirements. Motorized use is normally seasonal, April 1 through December 31, subject to snow, gates and temporary restrictions. Stay on designated routes and do not drive on the Pacific Crest Trail. Three original source photographs are retained as historical imagery; they do not establish present trail or water conditions.
