About this trail
Hot Well Dunes offers rolling desert sand for four-wheel-drive trucks, ATVs, motorcycles and other OHVs within its designated fenced riding area. Outside that area, keep to existing authorized roads and trails. Bring drinking water and check dune crests for drop-offs and other riders. BLM has scheduled facility and road improvements from June 2026 through January 2027, so expect construction-related access and amenity impacts. Check current notices, entry fees, vehicle decals and safety-flag requirements before travelling.
