About this trail
Hungry Valley offers 4x4 trails, sand washes and hill routes in the Tejon Pass near Gorman. The park has reopened in part after the Post Fire, but its eastern area remains closed; Quail Canyon's event area and tracks also have a separate closure. Follow current signs and park maps rather than older trail descriptions. Check fire restrictions, vehicle requirements and gate hours before visiting, and prepare for heat, dust and intermittent cell coverage.
