Indian Ridge Trail System
Indian Ridge trailhead near Ashland, McDowell County, WV
About this trail
Indian Ridge is a Hatfield-McCoy trail network near Ashland, West Virginia, for ATVs, UTVs and dirt bikes—not full-size Jeeps or trucks. Wooded tracks, rocky climbs and muddy sections offer a range of difficulty, with connections to Pinnacle Creek, Pocahontas and Warrior. Choose marked routes that suit your machine and experience rather than assuming every connector is suitable. All drivers and passengers need a current Hatfield-McCoy permit, helmet and eye protection. Riding is limited to daylight hours; camping and fires are not allowed on the trail system. Use the operator's current map and check closures before travelling. The Ashland trailhead is unstaffed, so arrange permits before arriving.
