Little Rubicon 4WD Trail
Little Rubicon, Powerline trail area, Tillamook State Forest, OR
About this trail
Little Rubicon is a short, technical obstacle section of the Powerline trail system in Tillamook State Forest. Rock ledges, steep ground and awkward approaches call for a well-prepared 4WD vehicle and experienced driving. The original community photograph shows a modified vehicle among substantial rocks. Scout the line, use a spotter when appropriate and turn back if the obstacle exceeds your equipment or experience. Follow posted directions and closures rather than assuming a preferred direction of travel. The pin identifies the trail area, not a staging lot. Bring the current ODF trail map and required OHV permit, and check trail conditions and fire restrictions before visiting.
