Long Beach Peninsula - Klipsan Beach Access
225th Lane beach approach at Klipsan Beach, Ocean Park, WA 98640
About this trail
The Klipsan Beach approach off 225th Lane reaches the Pacific shore south of central Ocean Park. It provides beach-driving access, not a dedicated OHV course or an unrestricted route along the whole peninsula. State Parks lists Klipsan as an access point but prohibits ATVs and UTVs on the beach. Use an authorized road vehicle, follow signs and stay on permitted hard-packed sand. Pedestrians have priority, and the maximum beach speed is 25 mph unless a lower limit is posted. Sections near Leadbetter Point and Long Beach/Seaview have separate seasonal or year-round closures, so check the current rules before travelling beyond this area. Watch the tides and weather, keep away from surf, dunes and soft sand, and leave room for other beach users. The pin marks the beach approach area. The original image is a historical annotated map, not a current navigation guide.
