Oceano Dunes offers designated beach and dune riding on California's central coast. Use the authorized beach entrances and transport unlicensed OHVs to the permitted off-loading area at Post 2. Tides, storms, blowing sand and Arroyo Grande Creek flows can restrict access. Respect all fenced habitat and closed areas. Check current capacity, vehicle registration rules and day-use requirements before visiting; beach camping reservations are handled separately through California State Parks.
