The Cove near Gore offers rugged, narrow rock trails in the Appalachian Mountains for capable off-road vehicles and experienced drivers. Jeep and full-size 4x4 access is available only during scheduled off-road events, not simply with a camping reservation. Check the operator's event calendar, vehicle requirements and registration arrangements before visiting. Camping and other recreation are managed separately by the campground; follow the event's designated routes and access instructions.
